Machine Operator

PeopleShare is hiring a Machine Operator to work in Sayreville, NJ! This role is within a chemical manufacturing environment.

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday 2nd Shift, 2:00PM-10:00PM
  • Pay Rate: $14.00-$17.00/hour
  • Temp-to-Hire Opportunity!

Job Responsibilities for the Machine Operator:

  • Operate chemical plant machines; make adjustments, monitor recording instruments and watch for warning signals
  • Draw samples and run quality control tests
  • Inspect operating units to ensure they are running efficiently, assist in the repair of damaged equipment when needed
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and SOP's

Job Requirements for the Machine Operator:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Prior experience working as a chemical operator preferred, manufacturing or machine operator experience required
  • Ability to lift 60lbs
  • Strong attention to detail and familiar with safety regulations

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
