Temporary Customer Service Clerk

Job Description:
Temporary Customer Service Clerk ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Receive, process and verify the accuracy of orders from customers/brokers/Regional Manager utilizing the company's mainframe system and customer purchase orders.
Communicate changes to the appropriate personnel.
Provide backup support to the other group/team members as necessary for Sample Room or Customer Service Ensure that sample room is properly stocked with needed products and supplies Ensure that all samples selected are of the highest possible quality.
Maintain a monthly record--Quality Record, overall quality of products received.
Ensure that all sample requests are shipped by requested date.
If, for whatever reason, that is not feasible, this must be discussed immediately with supervisor.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Assist Brokers/Regional Sales Managers/Quality with the settlement of customer complaints.
Maintain accurate customer records.
Maintain direct continuous relationships with Customers/Brokers/Regional Sales Managers, as well as intra and inter departments.
Foster communication and strong relationships with all members of Sabert Corporation business team members.
Take ownership for assigned territory responsibilities within Customer Service Ensure proper execution of any projects or duties as requested by management.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Daily lifting of boxes, repetitive motion (labeling) Work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong decision making skills.
Project a positive image.
Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize work and meet established deadlines.
Clear understanding of quality benchmarks Must demonstrate solid communication skills, both written and oral.
Must be detail oriented.
Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Reads and Writes English WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Sample Room Support Daily Lifting of Boxes, Repetitive motion (labeling), stocking shelves Must be able to lift boxes up to 35 lbs Working inside the warehouse / sample room on foot / walking up and down stairs Customer Service Support Daily desk / computer work / answering phones Other Work in accordance with all company policies and procedures regarding employment, safety, quality, product safety and legality, security, and regulatory compliance as applicable.
QUALIFICATIONS Experience Previous shipping experience Pick / pack experience Preferable, but not limited to experience in a manufacturing environment.
Customer service experience preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
