Process Team Leader
Business Unit Distilling & Energy
Archerfield consulting client a global distilling brand currently has a permanent opportunity for a Process Team Leader in their Girvan plant.
Purpose
To lead, control and develop all designated aspects of production, health & safety/ environmental activity to ensure the delivery of key results in line with production strategy while ensuring all operations adhere to relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the development and execution of the site plans in line with the Company, Operations and Business Unit objectives.
Develop and deliver specific improvement projects within respective area.
Maximise the efficiencies and cost of make of area of responsibility and identify areas of improvement whilst maintaining a strong interface with Spirit Supply, Technical Support, Compliance team and Project Engineering.
Develop comprehensive improvement plans that support our drive for improved operating costs ensuring successful implementation of the plans.
Lead, motivate and develops their team member in line with company values to maximise employee engagement
Monitor and manage the capital/SR requirements assigned to team as well as day to day financial control to ensure budgetary requirements are met
Implement innovative and continuous improvement projects to ensure competitiveness, customer service and quality is maintained.
Maintain the safe operation of their process plant (s) to ensure continuity of process operations and conformity of by product streams to operational and environmental standards. Report to relevant parties where appropriate.
Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of business objectives that drive essential behavioural and process change
Ensure plant and key unit operations/ equipment on plant are maintained with all CSD's completed in a timely manner. Alongside this track outage of critical equipment as part of a drive to improve OEE
Act as the 'on call team leader' when and where appropriate.
Educated to degree level in either Chemistry/Science/Brewing discipline or Chemical Engineering
? Proven leader who can set objectives, performance manage a team and develop individuals to achieve their
potential
? Demonstrate significant technical competence in either the Distilling/ Brewing/ Pharmaceutical/ Petrochemical
industries
